Cameron Man Struck By Vehicle On Interstate

A Cameron man was left with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Thursday night on Interstate 35.
Troop H of the Highway Patrol says 43-year-old Cameron resident 43-year-old Gioacchino E. Aiello was struck by an unknown vehicle at 10:07 P.M. Thursday on southbound Interstate 35 at mile-marker 21.4 in Clay County.
Aiello suffered serious injuries and was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The Highway Patrol says the vehicle that struck Aiello left the scene.
