Cameron Teen Hurt In Motorcycle Accident

A Cameron teenager was left with minor injuries after losing control of his motorcycle Wednesday evening.

Troop H of the Highway Patrol says the 14-year-old male Cameron resident was operating a Honda CRF230 motorcycle westbound on Duroc Road about five miles south of Cameron at 6:30 P.M. Wednesday when he lost control of the bike.

According to the accident report the motorcycle then began to slide before overturning and ejecting the driver, who came to rest in the eastbound lane.

The Highway Patrol says the 14-year-old was not wearing proper safety equipment at the time and suffered minor injuries. The juvenile was taken to Cameron Regional medical Center by Caldwell County EMS.
