Cameron Teen Injured in Dekalb County Crash Thursday

A Cameron teen was injured in a Dekalb County crash Thursday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Route E-E, at Rogers Road, when a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Landon M. Swavey was heading southbound.

Troopers say an oncoming northbound vehicle being driven by 38-year-old Stewartsville resident Cody L. Taylor made a left turn in front of Swavey and struck the front side of his vehicle.

Swavey was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

Troopers say both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
