Cameron Woman Injured in Morning Accident in DeKalb County

A Cameron woman was injured in an accident this morning in DeKalb County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 36, at I-35, when a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Kimberly E. Potts was heading westbound.

Troopers say another westbound vehicle driven by 50-year-old Anderson, Missouri resident James W. Hall was stopped at the intersection’s traffic light and was struck in the rear by Potts’ vehicle.

Potts suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.

No injury information was listed for Hall.

Troopers say all involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
