Carrollton Man Killed In Tuesday Evening Crash

A Carrollton man was killed in a Tuesday evening one vehicle accident in Carroll County.
Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 71-year-old Carrollton resident Larry G. Edwards was driving a 2018 Freightliner fuel tanker on Carroll County Route E at Highway OO at 5:05 P.M. Tuesday when his truck went off the right side of the roadway. The Patrol says Edward overcorrected sending the vehicle off the left shoulder of the roadway where it overturned.
Edwards was not wearing a seat belt at the time and suffered fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:25 P.M.
