Carrollton Teens Seriously Injured in Thursday Night Accident

A pair of Carrollton 18-year-olds were left with serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident late Thursday in Carroll County.

According to the accident report from Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Sandia, Texas resident Chance A. Wadley was driving a 2020 Ford F250 at the intersection of County Road 100 and 271 near Hale when his truck slid off the roadway and struck a ditch.

Two passengers in that vehicle, 18-year-olds Triniti L. Gibson and Chrissy Wheeler, both of Carrollton, were left with serious injuries. Both were transported to Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The accident report says Gibson was wearing a seat belt at the time but Wheeler was not.
