Central Decatur Hires Assistant Girls Basketball Coach For 2021-22 School Year

Central Decatur School Board members agreed to seek the allowable growth and supplemental aid for the district for a negative 2021 special education balance their October meeting. That amount was a little over $120,000. The board also reviewed a comparison to the 2019-20 school year and the contributing factors to the negative balance.

The board hired Juliette Kline in a part-time capacity to the Special Education Director’s position. She will fill the position until a candidate is found for the position. The board hired Rudy Evertsen was an Assistant High School Girls Basketball Coach. A resignation of Britney Baker was accepted as an Assistant Junior High Volleyball coach. The board also accepted the resignation of Sarah Dale from the Nutrition Services Department.
