Central Decatur Hosts Special Olympics Basketball Skills Competition

Central Decatur Community School hosted the Special Olympics of Iowa South Central District basketball skills competition on Saturday.
Special Olympics of Iowa has provided people with intellectual disabilities an avenue to become accepted and valued members of their communities since 1968.
In addition to the basketball skills the South Central Area hosts bowling competitions in Atlantic in October and the Spring Games in April at Graceland University in Lamoni.
