Chase in Linn County Ends in Arrest

The Chillicothe Police Department assisted in a pursuit Tuesday evening.
At 6:09 pm, Chillicothe PD received a request for assistance from Linn County as they were in pursuit of a vehicle, westbound on US-36 toward Chillicothe
Officers were able to deploy stop-sticks just east at the City limits and the pursued vehicle struck them and lost a tire but continued westbound on the rim.
The vehicle eventually came to a stop near the Grand River Overflow and the driver and passenger from Kansas City area were taken into custody. A firearm was located in the vehicle.
Agencies involved were Marceline, Brookfield, Linn County, Highway Patrol, Livingston County, and Chillicothe Police.
