Child Injured in Accident West of Polo

A child was injured in an accident that took place on Pikes Road, four miles west of Polo on Thursday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol at 8:45 A.M. 18-year old Polo resident Abigail M. Cline was Southbound when her vehicle crossed the center line striking the drivers side of 45-year-old Lee’s Summit resident Justin C. Wilson’s vehicle. Both Vehicles came to rest on their wheels.
Both Drivers had no injuries, but Wilson’s Five-year-old passenger was transported by private vehicle to Excelsior Springs Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
