A tax credit package aimed at easing Missouri’s childcare shortage will make a return next year.
Republican State Representative Brenda Shields, of northwest Missouri’s St. Joseph, has pre-filed her bill from the last session that provides a series of tax credits to both offset the cost of childcare and to encourage investment in childcare. . .
Shields’ plan is backed by Governor Mike Parson, who believes the bill can pass in the upcoming session. . .
