Chillicothe Man Injured in Grundy County Crash Tuesday

A Chillicothe man suffered injuries in a Grundy County crash Tuesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 1:10 Tuesday afternoon on Highway 6 in Galt as 76-year-old Robert D. Spencer drove eastbound.

Troopers say a westbound vehicle crossed the center line and struck the front left of Spencer’s Dodge pickup.

Spencer suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital.

Authorities say the westbound driver fled the scene of the crash.
