Chillicothe Man Injured in Platte County Crash Monday Night

A Chillicothe man was injured in a Monday evening accident in Platte County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on I-29, at mile marker 28.2, when a freightliner driven by 68-year-old Salt Lake City, Utah resident Joseph N. Todoran was heading southbound.

Troopers say Todoran changed lanes and struck a vehicle with a passenger, 28-year-old Chillicothe resident Tristan R. Frump.

The vehicle Frump was riding in traveled off the roadway and overturned.

Troopers say it is unknown who was driving that vehicle.

Frump suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mosaic Hospital for treatment.

Authorities say Frump was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
