Chillicothe Offender Death

The Missouri Department of Corrections has today announced the death of an offender from the Chillicothe Correctional Center Friday.

According to the release 64-year-old offender Peggy Goodin was pronounced dead at St. Luke’s hospital in Kansas City Friday, January 21 at 11:59 A.M.

Goodin was serving a seven year sentence for delivery of a controlled substance from Scotland County and two counts of possession of a controlled substance out of Schuyler County. She was received into the Department of Corrections January 9, 2020.

The State says an autopsy will be conducted.
