Chillicothe Police Activity for 10/21/21

12:17 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 10 block of Jackson St. Officers responded and determined the vehicle was parked legally.

1:05 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a loud music complaint in the 1000 block of Third St. Officers responded, contacted the parties playing the loud music who agreed to turn it down.

7:12 a.m., Officers were dispatched to check on a pedestrian at U.S. 36 Hwy. and S. Mitchell Ave. Officers responded and contacted the person who did not need assistance.

8:21 a.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about a possible crime. Officers spoke with the citizen and answered their questions. No report was filed at that time.

9:21 a.m., Officers were dispatched to assist the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services with a medical call in the 300 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy.

10:46 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint on Fifteenth Ter. Officers responded, contacted the owner and the vehicle was moved.

10:57 a.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 100 block of E. Bridge St.

11:23 a.m., Officers assisted a stranded motorist at S. Washington St. and Bus. 36 Hwy.

12:05 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about possible harassment at the Police Department. No report was filed at that time.

1:53 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 1000 block of Graves St.

1:58 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress in the 1200 block of W. Polk St. Officers responded and discovered it was a family member cleaning the residence.

2:13 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a dog running-at-large in the area of N. Washington St. and Blackfoot Dr. The dog was taken to the animal shelter.

2:16 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible harassment in the 400 block of Third St. Officers responded and contacted the complainant, who declined to file a report at that time.

5:01 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 14000 block of Liv 249.

7:15 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 1400 block of W. Polk St.

7:56 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 200 block of Cowgill St.

8:07 p.m., a citizen arrived at the Police Department to claim property. Officers spoke with the citizen and returned the property.

9:21 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the 1300 block of N. Washington St. Officers responded and did not discover any criminal activity.

10:04 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle following another vehicle in the 600 block of Walnut St. Officers responded and located the vehicles. Officers discovered the occupants of the following vehicle was friends of the occupants of the followed vehicle.

Officers conducted traffic stops, business checks and responded to 80 calls for service on Thursday, October 21st, 2021.
