12:26 a.m., Officers stopped a bicyclist in the 1400 block of N. Washington St. Officers advised the cyclist of the ordinances pertaining to bicycles at night.
1:54 a.m., Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of Graves St. Officers did not discover any criminal activity.
1:58 a.m., Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy. Officers did not discover any criminal activity.
7:28 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a burglary, property damage, and stealing in the 300 block of S. Washington St. The investigation is ongoing.
9:37 a.m., another agency called the Police Department with questions about an ongoing investigation. Officers spoke with the agency.
9:41 a.m., Officers attempted a paper service in the 400 block of Mechanic St.
9:49 a.m., Officers served a paper in the 1300 block of Springhill St.
9:58 a.m., Officers served a paper in the 1200 block of Cooper St.
10:56 a.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about a citation. Officers spoke with the citizen and explained the citation.
11:31 a.m., a citizen called the Police Department to provide information for an ongoing investigation. Officers spoke with the citizen.
11:34 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person in the 600 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy. Officers were unable to locate the suspicious person.
11:53 a.m., a citizen called the Police Department and reported their vehicle broke down in the area of Third St. and N. Washington St. They advised they were working on getting it removed.
1:07 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about an investigation. Officers spoke with the citizen.
1:12 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department requesting assistance with an ongoing investigation. Officers spoke with the citizen and provided the assistance.
1:19 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department and provided information for an ongoing investigation. Officers spoke with the citizen.
1:20 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department about a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of N. Washington St. Officers discovered the vehicle was disabled and the owner was attempting to get repairs.
3:09 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about lost property turned in to the Police Department. Officers advised the property had not been turned in to the Department.
3:17 p.m., Officers checked on a disabled vehicle at N. Washington St. and Coach K Rd. Officers advised the vehicle changed a flat tire and went on their way.
3:33 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen at the Police Department about a property dispute. The investigation is ongoing.
4:55 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 900 block of N. Washington St. Officers advised two females were arrested for disorderly conduct, processed at the Police Department, and released pending a court appearance.
5:03 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen at the Police Department about a possible sex offense. Officers discovered the incident occurred in another jurisdiction. The citizen was referred to that jurisdiction.
5:05 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 700 block of Cherry St. Officers did not discover any criminal activity.
5:44 p.m., Officers took a report of counterfeiting in the 700 block of S. Washington St. The investigation is ongoing.
5:58 p.m., Officers took a report of an assault in the 1100 block of First St. A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.
7:11 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a careless and imprudent driver in the 1400 block of Jackson St. Officers located the vehicle and contacted the driver. Officers discovered there was a probable medical concern. The driver refused an ambulance at that time, but was taken by private vehicle for medical assessment.
7:15 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible stolen vehicle in the 1000 block of Graves St. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
7:15 p.m., Officers arrested a 28-year-old male on an active warrant out of Grundy County for failure to appear. The male was transported to the Police Department and posted the required $227.00 cash-only bond and was released with a new court date.
7:30 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible trespassing in the 900 block of Trenton St. Officers discovered it was the property owner.
7:41 p.m., Officers were dispatched to kids performing donuts on 4-wheelers in the area of Martin St. and Clay St. Officers advised them of ordinances pertaining to operation of 4-wheelers.
7:46 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a business alarm in the 300 block of S. Washington St. Officers discovered there was no emergency.
8:46 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a careless and imprudent driver in the 1500 block of Webster St. Officers located the vehicle and discovered they were attempting to tow a vehicle.
9:22 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department and advised their vehicle was disabled and off the roadway in the area of Highland Ave. and Jackson St. The owner advised they were making arrangements for removal.
10:11 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up in the 1100 block of First St.
