Friday, October 15th

4:19 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a business alarm in the 1100 block of S. Mitchell Ave. Officers did not discover any emergency.

7:13 a.m., a business called the Police Department requesting information about a reported incident. Officers spoke with the business and assisted them.

7:23 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a business alarm in the 500 block of Park Ln. Officers did not discover any emergency.

7:27 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a careless and imprudent driver on N. Washington St. near Coach K Rd. Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

7:58 a.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 600 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy.

8:24 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a vehicle hauling graveling and loosing some causing damage to following vehicles on eastbound U.S. 36 Hwy. Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

8:32 a.m., Officers were dispatched to dogs running-at-large in the 1200 block of Hogan St. Animal control was contacted but was unavailable. Officers responded and were unable to capture the dogs or contact the owners. Further attempts will be made.

8:58 a.m., Officers took a report of shoplifting in the 1000 block of Graves St. The investigation is on-going.

9:36 a.m., Officers were out at the courthouse for court duties.

9:48 a.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about possible crimes. No report was filed at that time.

9:53 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury traffic crash in the 1200 block of N. Washington St. The parties involved agreed to exchange information and no report was filed.

10:44 a.m., Officers took a report of stealing/fraud at the Police Department. The investigation is on-going.

11:07 a.m., a business called the Police Department requesting assistance with a repossessed vehicle. Officers spoke with the business and answered questions.

11:07 a.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 1000 block of Graves St.

12:10 p.m., Officers conducted a funeral escort for a local funeral home.

1:26 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 600 block of Locust St.

1:43 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about possible crimes. Officers spoke with the citizen who declined to file a report at that time.

3:15 p.m., Officers conducted stationary radar enforcement in the 2800 block of Hornet Rd.

3:18 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a three vehicle non-injury traffic crash on in the 400 block of N. Washington St. Minor damage was reported.

3:44 p.m., Officers were out at the courthouse for court duties.

3:50 p.m., a person called the Police Department to complain of bad drivers in the City of Chillicothe and the State of Missouri. The caller declined to provide a specific incident or file a report.

4:30 p.m., Officers executed a search warrant in the 300 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy. following an investigation. Officers seized items of evidence for the reported offense.

4:57 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person in the 10 block of Clay St. Officers located the person and did not discover any criminal activity.

5:58 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department about a possible stolen vehicle from another jurisdiction possibly in Chillicothe. Officers checked the area reported but did not locate the vehicle.

6:18 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possibly intoxicated person swinging a stick in a yard in the 1500 block of Clay St. Officers responded and located the person who was a kid playing in their own yard.

7:54 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department about a possible crime. Officers spoke with the citizen and answered their questions. No report was filed at that time.

8:23 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a group of juveniles threatening to fight another group of juveniles in the 500 block of Clay St. Officers located the juveniles and determined the incident was verbal and they were dispersed.

9:18 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of St. Louis Ave. The incident was determined to be verbal in nature and the parties separated.

10:47 p.m., Officers took a report of lost property in the 500 block of S. Washington St. The investigation is on-going.

11:20 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1400 block of Calhoun St. Officers contacted the person and advised them to cease their activity.

Saturday, October 16th

1:10 a.m., Officers were dispatched to suspicious activity in the 200 block of Clay St. Officers responded but did not discover anything or anyone suspicious or criminal activity.

8:37 a.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 2300 block of Fair St.

9:00 a.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about possible fraud at the Police Department. No report was filed at that time.

10:22 a.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about child custody at the Police Department. The incident was determined to be civil in nature.

10:46 a.m., Officers were dispatched to suspicious activity in the 700 block of Samuel St. Officers did discover anything criminal at that time.

11:19 a.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about possible crimes at the Police Department. Officers took the information and the investigation is on-going.

11:28 a.m., Officers were dispatched to possible illegal burning in the 1100 block of Smith St. Officers responded and contacted the parties involved informing them of the City Ordinance pertaining to burning.

11:34 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible assault in the 1100 block of Smith St. Officers responded and contacted the parties involved. The parties declined to file a report at that time.

1:02 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 500 block of S. Washington St.

1:21 p.m., Officers took a report of child abuse/neglect in the 2300 block of Fair St. The investigation is on-going. Officers were assisted by the Livingston County Children’s Division.

2:03 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible stealing in the 1100 block of Smith St. Officers responded and spoke with the reporting party. No report was filed at that time.

2:27 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 1500 block of Morningside Dr.

3:32 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible animal abuse at Simpson Park. Officers responded and made contact. Officers did not discover any criminal activity.

3:34 p.m., Officers were dispatched to an unwanted person at a residence in the 1700 block of Maple St. Officers responded and the person left without incident.

3:51 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a bicyclist who was chased by dogs and dropped their property at Third St. and Grandview Ave. Officers responded and assisted the bicyclist to retrieve their property. The owner of the dogs was contacted and advised of the incident. The owner secured the dogs.

4:15 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a male causing a disturbance in the 200 block of S. Washington St. Officers responded and discovered the male had left prior to their arrival. No report was filed at that time.

4:18 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible gunshots heard East of the 400 block of Vine St. Officers responded, patrolled the area, but did not discover any criminal activity.

4:24 p.m., Officers attempted a warrant service in the 1000 block of S. Washington St.

4:44 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint at Danner Park. Officers contacted the owner and they will move the vehicle.

5:03 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about a possible crime. Officers spoke with the citizen and answered their questions.

9:02 p.m., Officers were dispatched to an aggressive dog running-at-large in the 1000 block of Graves St. Officers were able to capture the dog and it was taken to the animal shelter.

9:08 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about child custody. Officers spoke with the citizen and determined the incident to be civil in nature.

9:26 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible unattended fire in the area of E. Bridge St. and Missouri Ave. Officers responded, patrolled the area but were unable to locate any fire.

9:36 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 1200 block of N. Washington St. Officers responded and made contact. The parties left without incident.

10:35 p.m., Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 2900 block of N. Washington St. Officers contacted the driver who stated they were playing Pokémon Go and left without incident.

Sunday, October 17th

1:20 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 300 block of Henry St. Officers responded and discovered the incident to be verbal in nature.

8:50 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 10 block of Walnut St. Officers responded but were unable to locate the owner at that time.

9:33 a.m., Officers were dispatched to assist the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services with a possible fire in the 600 block of St. Louis Ave. No fire was discovered.

10:58 a.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about possible threats at the Police Department. No report was filed at that time.

1:19 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 300 block of Calhoun St. Officers responded and discovered the incident was verbal in nature. No report was filed at that time.

2:30 p.m., Officers conducted follow-up on an investigation in the 200 block of N. Washington St.

2:32 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible property damage in the 300 block of S. Washington St. Officers responded and contacted the owner of the property. No damage was discovered and no report filed.

2:45 p.m., Officers recovered abandoned property in the 200 block of Crescent Dr.

6:31 p.m., Officers were dispatched to suspicious activity in the 1200 block of Polk St. Officers responded and did not discover any criminal activity at that time.

7:00 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle on McCormick St. Officers responded and did not discover any suspicious vehicles.

7:44 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about possible threats at the Police Department. No report was filed at that time.

8:30 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department with question about an arrested person. The citizen was directed to the holding facility.

10:55 p.m., Officers received information of possible drug activity. Officers took the information for investigation.

11:30 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department with questions about a possible crime. Officers spoke with the citizen and answered their questions. No report was filed at that time.

11:44 p.m., Officers were dispatched to people at Danner Park after hours. Officers responded, contacted them and advised them of the park hours. They left without incident.
