12:21am, Officers checking well-being of subjects in the 1000 block of Calhoun Street….Subjects found to be OK…

1:04am, Officers checking open door on a vehicle at Calhoun and Jefferson Streets…..Officer contacted owner and OK….

1:23am, Request to check for possible fire in a residence on Springhill Street near Monroe…..No fire observed…..

7:04am, Officers reported to a residence in the 200 block of Cowgill Street to report of deceased person……a 56 year old female was found to have passed away during the night and Coroner was called to take custody of the body……No sign of foul play observed….

9:22am, Officer out at PD for fingerprinting detail….

9:50am, Officer out at Courthouse to deliver paperwork to Prosecutor’s Office….

10:13am, Officers followed up on numerous incidents of theft, property damage in the uptown and surrounding area….As a result, cases of vehicle theft, property damage, burglary and attempted burglary and stealing have been solved and items recovered. Two suspects have been apprehended…..1 subject was incarcerated at Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail and a Juvenile was transported and housed at a Juvenile Detention Center…..Charges are pending…..

10:49am, Officers monitored testing of Storm Siren Activation test……All OK…

11:31am, Officers received a report of assault upon a female in the 1000 block of First Street…..A suspect that is known to the victim has been identified and investigation continuing….

12:43pm, Officer out at Courthouse for Court duties…..

1:17pm, Officer arrested a 41 year old subject for violating a protection order…..Bond was posted and subject released pending court appearance….

1:47pm, Officer out at PD for fingerprinting detail…..

1:49pm, Motorist assist provided at Polk and Washington Streets…..

2:33pm, Prosecutor’s Office calling to speak with Officer…..Officer taking call….

2:57pm, Officers out in the 900 block of Third Street on possible disturbance…..Determined to be civil issue…..No report…..

2:58pm, Officer out in the 1000 block of Graves Street on a follow-up investigation…..

3:15pm, Officer out at Courthouse for Court duties…..

5:12pm, Officer made traffic stop and subject in vehicle wanted on active Caldwell County warrant……Subject transported to PD and cash appearance bond was posted, court date assigned…….

5:16pm, Reported disturbance with tenants at business in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street….Handled by Officers….No report…..

5:30pm, Possible scam with resident in the 1500 block of Jackson Street…..No victim at this time…..Scam not completed…..

6:14pm, Subject calling to speak with Officer…..Officer taking call….

6:51pm, Officers received a call at the PD of on alleged child abuse that had occurred at Chilli Bay by an adult striking a juvenile…. One adult individual was arrested, processed and transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail in lieu of charges….

8:23pm, Subject calling to speak with Officer in reference to questions on reporting an assault…..Subject advised to bring victim to PD for making report and provide information…..

9:43pm, Prisoner transport to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail…….

10:11pm, Subject calling with question on placement of juvenile assault victim that is their relative……Officer speaking with them….

10:27pm, Subject calling about placement of juvenile victim……Officer handling….
