Friday, August 20th, 2021

12:00 AM, Officer checked on an unattended vehicle parked in Simpson Park.

3:33 AM, Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of South Washington. Officers reported the incident o be verbal in nature and no arrests were made.

8:11 AM, Officers responded to a report of a burglary at a business in the 600 block of First Street. A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

8:41 AM, Officers responded to a report of a burglary at a business in the 900 block of North Washington. Investigation continues.

10:43 AM, Officer conducted follow up investigation in the 400 block of Williams.

11:18 AM, Officer responded to a report of child abuse in the 1200 block of Third Street. Officer determined no child abuse was occurring.

12:44 PM, Officer received a report of property damage in the 200 block of Jackson Street.

1:17 PM, Officer received animal complaint in the 10 block of Wilson Street. Officer spoke with animal owner and issue was resolved.

2:15 PM, Officer received a report of a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Second Street. Investigation continues.

4:21 PM, Officer received parking complaint in the 1100 block of Calhoun Street. Officer contacted vehicle owner and issue was resolved.

6:50 PM, Officer received a report of theft in the 1000 block of Polk Street.

7:49 PM, Officer received a report of a vehicle being driven in a careless manner around North Washington and MO 190. Officer was unable to locate vehicle.

8:00 PM, Officer received a report of theft in the 400 block of Cowgill. Investigation continues.

8:04 PM, Officer responded to a two vehicle non-injury accident at Third Street and Hickory Street. Officer advised one vehicle failed to yield at an intersection striking another vehicle. Driver was cited

for failing to yield resulting in an accident.

8:56 PM, Officer conducted well being check of a resident in the 1200 block of Walnut Street. Resident was found to be ok.

10:54 PM, Officer responded to an intrusion alarm at a business in the 1100 block of Mitchell. Business was found to be secure and alarm activation was a malfunction due to weather.

11:28 PM, Officers responded to an intrusion alarm at a business in the 100 block of West Business 36. Officers advised business was secure and alarm activation was believed to be a malfunction.

11:53 PM, Officer located open door at a business in the 800 block of Graves. Officers secured the business after conducting a check of the business.

Saturday, August 21st, 2021

1:26 AM, Officer conducted a well being check of a subject in the area of Polk and Easton.

2:39 AM, Officer conducted a well being check of a subject in the area of Vine and Wise.

2:56 AM, Officer located open door to a business in the 500 block of Locust Street. Business was secured after officer check the business.

3:14 AM, Officer advised vehicle reported stolen on 08/20 was recovered near Kansas City by Highway Patrol Troop A.

7:20 AM, Officer arrested a female subject in the 900 block of Polk Street for trespassing. She was later transported to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail on prior pending charges.

8:07 AM, Officer conducted follow up investigation in the 400 block of Williams.

8:38 AM, Officer conducted follow up investigation in the 400 block of Cowgill.

9:40 AM, Officer conducted well being check of a resident in the 1700 block of hickory. Resident was found to be ok.

11:13 AM, Officer received an animal complaint in the 200 block of Virginia.

8:51 PM, Officer assisted Livingston County Children’s Division in the 1000 block of South Washington Street on a child abuse investigation.

8:51 PM, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1700 block of Hickory. Officers arrested a female subject on a prior property damage investigation. The female was processed at the police

department, cited, and released.

8:59 PM, Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 800 block of Elm Street. No suspicious activity was observed.

9:10 PM, Officer received a report of property damage to a fence in the 10 block of Webster Street.

9:54 PM, Officers received a report of theft from a business in the 2600 block of north Washington Street. Investigation continues.

Sunday, August 22nd. 2021

12:11 AM, Officer conducted follow up investigation in the 1000 block of South Washington Street.

12:18 AM, Officers responded to a report of an intrusion alarm at a business in the 2800 block of Grand Drive. Officers advised business was secure and alarm activation was malfunction.

5:04 AM, Officer received a report of harassment in the 3100 block of Litton Road. Investigation continues.

6:04 AM, Officer responded to the 10 block of East Bridge to a report of an animal complaint. Animal was turned over to local Veterinarian.

7:17 AM, Officer conducted follow up investigation in the 900 block of North Washington Street.

10:30 AM, Officer conducted follow up investigation in the 10 block of Wilson Street.

10:56 AM, Officer received parking complaint in the 700 block of Graves Street. Contact was made with vehicle owner and issue was resolved.

6:12 PM, Officer received a report of property damage in the 600 block of West Business 36. Investigation continues.

9:45 PM, Officer received complaint of vehicle being driven in a careless manner in the 400 block of South Washington Street. Officer contacted vehicle owner and counseled driver on proper driving

etiquette.

9:50 PM, Officer responded to the 2600 block of North Washington for a well being check of a subject lying at the side of the road. Officer advised the subject was ok and picked up by a motorist.
