Chula Woman Injured & Charged in Tuesday Crash Near Chillicothe

A Chula woman suffered injuries and now faces preliminary charges in a Tuesday morning crash in Livingston County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 65, just north of Chillicothe, as a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Cynthia L. White drove southbound.
Authorities say White went off the west side of the road and struck a billboard pole, small trees, and a fence.
White suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Hedrick Medical Center.
Authorities say it is unknown if White wore a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Following the crash, troopers arrested White on preliminary charges of careless and imprudent driving involving an accident and driving while intoxicated.
Troopers released White on citations.
