City Of Bethany Plans Public Forum On Safety With Landlords

Bethany’s Board of Aldermen approved several bids during their Wednesday session.

R&S Electric Utility was approved for the electrical project for the upcoming year. The bid was approved at just under $100,000. The East Circuit Project will include a change-out of 46 additional poles, fiberglass crossarms, polymer cutouts, polymer insulators, and polymer arrestors.

Rodriguez Mechanical was approved for the Water Main Project. The cost will be just over $240,000 and will include Miller Street from 20th to 15th.

Howe Engineering was also approved for engineering for sewer projects. One of those on Beekman will be multi-year project.

Nail Excavating was approved for gas boring work.

The city will move the recycling bins from their current location to the old transmission station site.

A Mutual Aid Agreement was approved for the City of Bethany and the Missouri Public Utility Alliance.

The City of Bethany plans to hold a public forum for City of Bethany landlords at 1pm Monday, February 26th at Bethany City Hall. The meeting will cover safety precautions for rental properties.
