Clay County Sheriff Holding Town Hall Meetings On Prop A
Clay County voters are being invited to a pair of town hall meetings hosted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office regarding Proposition A, which will be voted on in November.
Proposition A asks voters to approve a $1 monthly fee on cellular devices to fund the County’s portion of the regional 911 system.
The first town hall will be held from 6 until 7 P.M. Wednesday, October 25, at the North Oak Branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library, located at 8700 North Oak Trafficway in Kansas City. The second meeting is from 6 to 7 P.M. Thursday, November 2, at the Woodneath Branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library, located at 8900 northeast Flintlock Road in Kansas City.
Sheriff Will Akin will also answer residents’ general questions about the Sheriff’s Office during the meetings.
