Clearmont Man Injured in Atchison County Crash This Morning

A Clearmont man suffered injuries in an Atchison County crash this morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 9:55 this morning on U.S. 136 and Route YY, about six miles east of Tarkio, as 39-year-old Byron A. Clark drove a semi-trailer truck westbound.

Troopers say Clark started to turn north onto Route YY, began to skid, and overturned onto the driver’s side of the truck.

Clark suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Fairfax Community Hospital.

Authorities say Clark did wear a seat belt at the time of the crash.
