The Clinton County Health Department has announced a series of drive-thru flu shot clinics coming up in October.

The Health Department says they accept most private insurance, as well as Medicare and Medicaid, and they have publicly funded vaccine available for uninsured or under-insured individuals. The cost is 30-dollars for self pay.

The first clinic is scheduled for Friday, October 2nd from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. at the Cameron Fire Department. On Monday, October 12th form 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. a clinic will be held at the Lathrop Fire Department.

The next clinic will be Wednesday, October 14th from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. at the Plattsburg Fire Department. The final scheduled clinic is set for Monday, October 19th from 2 P.M. until 4:30 P.M. at the Gower Fire Department.

They ask that those taking advantage of the clinics to wear a mask and to wear loose clothing.
