(Clinton County, MO) – Clinton County Sheriff Larry Fish took to social media Thursday to remind the communities within and surrounding Clinton County that there will be an influx of traffic in the area.
All due to the experience, many consider once in a lifetime, seeing the incorrupt body of Sister Wilhelmina at The Benedictines Of Mary Queen of the Apostles Chapel in Gower.
He stated to that it is expected to reach upwards of 10,000 plus visitors. Many from different places across the globe.
Sheriff Fish also asked the community to avoid the area if you don’t plan to visit, as well as making an emergency request to the County Commission to decrease the speed limit on the road leading to the chapel.
The speed limit change would be from 55 miles per hour to 35.
Sheriff Fish said that this will likely be going on over the next few months.
