Commercial Vehicle Stopped in Daviess County Ends in Arrest

The Missouri Highway Patrol stopped a commercial vehicle Thursday and arrested the driver in Daviess County.

At 6:42 pm, the patrol arrested 39-year-old Harry A. Hicks of Tomball, Texas for a class a misdemeanor of resisting arrest, careless and imprudent driving, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor DWI, driving a commercial vehicle without a valid commercial driver’s license, and driving a commercial vehicle while under influence of a controlled substance.

He was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail for a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
