Communications Officers Recognized for Efforts in St. Joe Abduction
Two communications officers were recognized for their quick response to an abduction in St. Joseph.
A tweet from the Missouri Highway Patrol reads :
Communications Operator III Melanie Stallsworth and Communications Operator I Kristen Bartles were recognized for their decisive and quick response to an abduction of a child that occurred in St. Joseph on March 15, 2021. Their actions resulted in an AMBER alert being issued in minutes and the child being recovered safely. They were recognized by the Missouri Association of Public Safety Communications Officials as Missouri Teammates in Action. Great work!!
