Congressional Districts Pass House; Rep. Calls on Senate To Do Its Job

(Missouri Net)- The Missouri House has moved forward with a new congressional redistricting plan.

The proposal now needs the support of the state senate where Republican Representative John Black of Webster County says senators need to do their jobs, unlike the last time the lower chamber passed a map plan.

Black says the upper chamber has a bad track record this session.

The Monday afternoon vote would adopt a map for new U.S. House districts with six Republican strongholds and two favoring Democrats.
