Congressman Sam Graves Wants Clarity From US Supreme Court on the Updated “Waters of the United States” Rule

(MISSOURINET) – The U-S Supreme Court is considering a lawsuit over how to define the “Waters of the United States.” The regulation expands federal authority of waterways, including some lakes, ponds, and streams. During a U.S. House subcommittee hearing, Missouri Congressman Sam Graves, the chairman of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, said farmers need clarity.

Earlier this month, Graves filed a joint resolution seeking to reverse the Biden administration’s WOTUS rule. The Environmental Protection Agency says will move the country closer to “protecting public health.”
