Congresswoman Bush Hosts Medication Abortion Roundtable

St. Louis Congresswoman Cori Bush co-hosted a roundtable in Washington D.C. on Monday with Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee.

It was focused on the ongoing battle over abortion access. One key topic was access to medication abortions.

Bush adds that limiting access to those drugs will be a burden on some women.

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, who is a Republican, put major pharmacy chains CVS and Walgreens on notice that if they moved forward with distributing abortion pills through the mail, they would be violating state and federal law.

A federal court ruling could be appealed after another court ruled on the FDA’s approval for this drug.
