Corydon Driver Flown To Des Moines Hospital Following Chain Reaction Accident

A Corydon driver was flown to the hospital following a three-vehicle accident in Wayne County Monday evening.

The Iowa State Patrol reports 20 year old Cerah Clark of Corydon was driving westbound on Highway 2 from 235th and approaching slowed traffic. The patrol’s report says the vehicle had passed several signs and crossed over warning strips directing traffic to slow for stopped traffic. Her vehicle eventually arrived at a stopped vehicle and took evasive action but still lost control and hit another vehicle that eventually caused another chain reaction impact into a third vehicle. Clark was flown to a Des Moines hospital.

The other two drivers were also from Corydon and not injured. The accident took place just before 6:30pm.
