Court Trial Set for Maysville Man Charged With Murder

A court trial is scheduled for a Maysville man facing a murder charge.

Court documents say Kenneth L. Wykert faces felony charges of second-degree murder and abandonment of a corpse.

Wykert is accused of murdering Cameron resident Leah Dawson in June 2019.

This case was moved from DeKalb to Nodaway County.

The trial is set to begin July 13 at 9:00 a.m.
