Cowgill Teen Injured in Sunday Crash in Caldwell County

A Cowgill teen was injured in an early morning crash Sunday in Caldwell County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on Highway 116, a mile east of Highway 13, when a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Zachary R. Stratton was heading westbound.

Troopers say Stratton went off the left side of the road, struck a driveway, became airborne, and overturned.

Stratton was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

Authorities say Stratton was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
