Daviess County Authorities Arrest Holt Resident on Several Charges

(Gallatin, MO) A Holt resident is incarcerated on charges alleged to have taken place on Wednesday in Daviess County,
According to court documents filed in the Circuit Court of Daviess County, 21-year-old Cassie Faye James is alleged to have operated her vehicle while she was intoxicated. Law enforcement says she had a child less than 17 years old in the vehicle when she was stopped.
In addition to the DWI charges, James is facing child endangerment, resisting arrest, and five counts of assault.
Upon arrest she was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail where she remains on a no-bond warrant. No court date has been set at this time.
