A resurfacing project is scheduled to begin this week on Daviess County Route AA from Route Z to Route T. Contractors will close Route AA in 2-mile increments beginning Friday for milling and paving, starting at Route Z and working north to Route T near McFall.
Crews plan to work daylight hours, Monday through Saturday. Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the daily closures which could continue through November 9th or later, depending on the weather.
Following the completion of Route AA, crews plan to close three more routes in this bundle of resurfacing projects, also in 2-mile increments, before pausing work for the winter:
Route ZZ, starting at Gentry County Route T in McFall and moving north to Harrison County U.S. Route 136 at New Hampton
Harrison County, Route EE starting at Route M and working south to U.S. Route 136 at New Hampton
And Route N, starting from Route M in Worth County to U.S. Route 136 in Gentry County
All work is weather permitting and could be rescheduled.
