Daviess County Sheriff Warns of Several Theft Reports
GALLATIN, MO – Daviess County authorities are advising residents to take precautions due to several reports of thefts.
Sheriff Larry Adams, Jr. says his office has received several reports of theft-type cases in the county. Residents are advised to secure their vehicles, outbuildings and residences. The Sheriff’s Office disseminated a form to assist citizens in reporting suspect information. That form can be located on the Daviess County Missouri Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
A release from the Sheriff’s Office says most of the reports have been in the west and northwest parts of Daviess County. Anyone with information on stolen fuel, catalytic converters and other stolen property should call the Sheriff’s office at 660-663-3300 Ext #9.
Anyone that sees suspicious activity or a crime should call the Sheriff’s Office of 911 immediately.
