Death Friday At Crossroads Correctional Reported

 

Officials at the Crossroads Correctional Center in Cameron have announce an offender death.

Officials say at 2:05 A.M. Friday, July 21, 89-year-old offender Robert Belcher (DOC No.1057545) was pronounced dead at the Crossroads Correctional Center.

Belcher was serving a life sentence for 2nd degree murder, attempt to commit 1st degree murder, two counts of kidnapping, and forcible rape from Clay and Platte Counties, and received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on February 26, 2001.

He died of apparent natural causes.
