DeKalb County Bridge Opens Monday Afternoon

After being closed for three months the DeKalb County bridge on Route A over the north fork of the Lost Creek opened to traffic Monday afternoon.

The bridge, which sits just south of the DeKalb/Gentry County line, was replaced as part of Governor mike Parson’s $351-million “Focus on Bridges” program that aims to repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

While the bridge is open to traffic once again, roadway striping still needs to be added. That part of the project will be completed as time and weather permit.
