DeKalb Schools Exploring 4-Day Week

The Buchanan County R-IV School District has announced they will be holding a public forum regarding a possible move to a four day school week.
The district is considering a move to the four day week starting in the 2023-24 school year.
The forum will be held at the Rushville Elementary School on Wednesday, January 18th starting at 6 P.M.
More than 1,600 schools in 24 states offer four-day school weeks. Coming into the 2022-23 school year in Missouri roughly 25% of districts were operating on a four day week.
