Despite ‘Frustrating’ Pace, Graves Says it’s ‘Realistic’ the Federal Farm Bill Will Make it Out of Congress This Year

Efforts to get the farm bill through Congress this year have been “frustrating,” according to Northern Missouri Congressman Sam Graves.

But he also says the chances of the bill making it to President Biden’s desk this year are “realistic:”

Graves describes a logjam of bills on other issues keeping the U.S. Senate from getting to the farm bill.

He also says special interest groups are trying to take “all the money” out of ag programs and put them into nutrition programs.
