Driver in Holt County Accident Life Flighted With Serious Injuries

A Nebraska driver had to be life flighted after an accident in Holt County Thursday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 43-year old Kylie Holman of Falls City, Nebraska was northbound on US 159, 4 miles east of Fortescue around 4:30 in the afternoon when she crossed the centerline. The front of Holman’s vehicle struck a tractor trailer driven southbound by 62-year old Craig resident Jesse Knapp.
Holman’s vehicle spun around and skidded off the roadway. The vehicle hit a MoDOT sign and came to rest on an embankment.
Holman was flown to Mosaic in St. Joseph with serious injuries. A 12-year old female occupant in her vehicle was also taken to Mosaic with minor injuries.
