Driver Injured And Vehicle Totaled In Altamont Accident

A Trenton driver was taken to the hospital following an accident that totaled a vehicle in Daviess County Tuesday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 31 year old Jeremy Reed was driving westbound on Highway 69, 1 mile west of Altamont, and went off the side of the roadway. The driver returned to vehicle back to the roadway, but went off the other side. The vehicle eventually struck an embankment.
The driver received minor injuries in the accident and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital by private vehicle.
The accident took place just after 6am Tuesday morning.
