Driver On the Way to Court Arrested After Pursuit in Livingston County

CHILLICOTHE, MO – A vehicle pursuit in Livingston County on Monday ended at the courthouse in Chillicothe.

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says the vehicle was eastbound on US 36 around 2:30 pm when it was clocked by a deputy traveling 90 mph in a 65 mph zone.  The deputy pursued the vehicle, however, it sped up in an attempt to elude the police.  Law enforcement continued the pursuit into Chillicothe where it came close to striking another vehicle and eventually pulled into the courthouse parking lot.

The driver was identified as 46-year-old Sean Dabney of Kirksville who the sheriff’s office said was late for a child support case.  Dabney was arrested for resisting arrest and traffic charges.
