Driving Issues And Drug Paraphernalia Get Two Arrested Monday

Traffic stops and drug paraphernalia landed two people in some legal trouble Monday in separate incidents.

The first arrest came at 1:08 P.M. in Holt County when Highway Patrol troopers arrested 31-year-old Mound City resident Daniel J. Fitzmier for driving while suspended and for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was booked into the Holt County Sheriff’s Office on a 24-hour hold.

At 2:58 P.M. in Nodaway County Troopers arrested 19-year-old Barnard resident Andrew R. Madden for speeding and for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was booked into the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Office before being released from custody.
