Drug Trafficking Among Seven Charges in DeKalb County Arrest

Drug trafficking was only one of seven charges in a DeKalb County arrest.

A report from the Missouri Highway Patrol says that 28-year-old Edwin D. Johnson of Dallas, Texas was arrested at 7:52 Tuesday morning.

The list of preliminary charges are felony first-degree drug trafficking, felony first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, five counts of felony possession of controlled substance, five misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid drivers license, a misdemeanor child restraint violation, and failure to display valid plates.

Johnson was taken to the Daviess-DeKalb Region Jail for a 24-hour hold.
