Emergency Guardrail Repairs Will Close Interstate 35 Tonight

Emergency guardrail repairs will close southbound Interstate 35 in Harrison County tonight.

Southbound Interstate 35, between U.S. Route 136 and Route 13 (Exits 92 and 88), will be closed tonight (Thursday) at 8 p.m. until Friday, April 21 at 2 a.m. for the repairs. The repairs are in an area where crews already had the interstate narrowed to one lane for a bridge project, and will require the only open lane to be closed while repairs are made.

During the closure, southbound traffic will be diverted at Exit 92. Traffic will be directed west on U.S. Route 136, then south onto Route 13 near the southern city limits of Bethany. Southbound traffic will rejoin I-35 at Exit 88.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
