Excelsior Springs Man Arrested On Drug And Tampering Charges

An Excelsior Springs man is facing a number of felony and misdemeanor charges after being arrested Thursday evening in Ray County.

Troop A of the Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 35-year-old Excelsior Springs resident Jerry D. Nail at 7:13 P.M. Thursday on two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance for methamphetamine and crack cocaine, tampering with a motor vehicle, misdemeanor possession of 10 grams or less of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nail was booked into the Ray County Jail on a 24-hour hold to await the filing of formal charges.
