Excelsior Springs Man in Ray County Court Tomorrow on Multiple Felony Charges

An Excelsior Springs man will appear in Ray County Court Thursday on multiple felony charges.

Court documents say James Wayne Woodruff Sr. faces three felony charges for possession of a controlled substance, a felony for second-degree rape, and a misdemeanor for third-degree kidnapping.

Records list all five charges from June 5.

The court denied Woodruff’s bond.

Woodruff pleaded not guilty on June 6.

He will appear for a bond appearance hearing Thursday morning at 8:30.
