Excelsior Springs Woman Arrested on Trio of Drug Charges Thursday

An Excelsior Springs woman was arrested on a trio of drug charges Thursday in Ray County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 48-year-old Brittany J. Loftis was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of a controlled substance of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Troopers say Loftis also had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant from Excelsior Springs.
She was taken to the Ray County Jail and booked on a 24-hour hold.
