Excelsior Springs Woman Hurt In Sunday Evening Crash

An Excelsior Springs woman was left with minor injuries after a traffic accident Sunday evening on Interstate 35.
According to Troop A of the Highway Patrol, 45-year-old Excelsior Springs resident Amy M. Kirtwright was driving a 2006 Chevrolet southbound on I-35 just south of Hi9ghway 291 when she began feeling faint and her vehicle went off the right side of the interstate.
Kirtwright was wearing a seat belt but still suffered minor injuries. She was taken by Liberty EMS to Liberty hospital for treatment.
